Hey all. Or, whoever actually reads this anyway. King Buggo here. Just got back from what will sadly be our last practice before the show, thanks primarily to my work schedule. At any rate, the band (ie, me and Colin) is sounding great. Not much else to report, really, except to tell you to go to the show. We'll be playing some new stuff for yas. Oh yeah, and tickets are available through Ticketmaster.... heh. I've always wanted to say that. Or through us, which is a wee bit cheaper. At any rate, see you on Thursday. Unless you don't go, of course. In which case, I won't. Unless I'm really drunk. Or hallucinating for some other reason.
The 13th hour of the 13th day of the 13th month.... Oh wait, replace those with "11"s. Yes, we have ANOTHER show, a real one this time! The Vault in that punk rock Mecca we call Baltimore, December 5. We'll be opening for, in order, Phocus, Uptown Stomp, and Life Goes On. Doors shouls be around 7 pm. Aaaaand, we've got flyers, which look hella cool! Download them. Print them. Distribute them. Pack the damn place with loving fans. We've got the Full page and a sheet full of cool quarter page ones. These are at 350 dpi, you may have to resize them in Photoshop or whatever before you print. If you have no cool image editing software, you'll have to go with the much cheeseier looking, but easier to handle, 72 dpi versions here and here. Now go. Show us what fans of the dumbest planet on earth can do. Message ends.
SHOW!!!! That's right, we will be playing a... gasp... SHOW! Tuesday, October 29th, 6 pm, at the North Woods Buffet in the University of Maryland Campus, with our good buddies and fellow morons Cumb6. Come to the show. Eat the food. Listen to our "music". Spread the word.
Heeeey. This be Bugsy with the first post in ages. I know it's been forever, but hey, we're busy! OK... We've been practicing a lot, and I set up a page for us on MP3.com. They're actually made for sound hosting and so on, so that's where our sounds will be from now on. Oh yeah, these are new recordings that feature the ENTIRE band (wow!), and I am removing those that are currently up. S'OK, these are much better. We'll be sending out the demo and our "press kits" to clubs this week, so with luck there'll be some shows soon. Keep the Stu flag flyin'!
Crazy Andy here again to answer a bit of what has come up in our guest book. 1. No, we are not as bad as you think we are. We can name at least 20 other bands, many of which we've both heard, that we are better than.(some of these bands have even played major concerts such as ozzfest). 2.As far as I know, We have had at least three girls asking to be a groupie. No, they are not skanks, ugly, hard of hearing, blind, or stupid. 3. Bugsy is not a girl, nor dose he look like one. I should know, I've been friends with him for ten years now. 4. If you have any more negative comments, questions, or suggestions please send them to: email@example.com or just discuss them with your best friend who farts on a snare drum because it is obvious that neither of you know anything about music or comedy. 5. As to all of you who have made posative comments, thanks. And a special thanks to our favorite punk rock girl Mary Prankster... we are working on kwik-e-mart for you. I hope that clears everything up. CA
Hey people, Crazy Andy here. Lots of news, and Buggo won't post it, but i'm here to bring you the scoops. First of all, what are you doing reading the news when you could be voteing which cover we should do or looking at the random quotes on the main page. I will be getting out of school soon, and with that Disco Stu will be headed into the studio to record a demo. Oh, and don't forget to check the new link i'm about to add about legos. More someday....CA
New front page logo up. There was supposed to be a performance tonight at the Javahead in College Park, but they decided not to hold their Open Mic night due to Spring Break! And that was the reason we were going to play. Was going to do more updating but now I'm all tired. Ah well. We're linked from snpp.com now, under "Miscellaneous". Hells yeah!
Band info section finally up! And a whole pile of MP3s just waiting for your ears. Plus, it looks like there will be a Stu performance at the open mic at the Java Head cafe in College Park. More news on this as it develops!
Different sections of the page are up and running! Sound files, links, and this news page right here. More to come soon!
The Disco Stu page is up and running! Very little actual stuff here, but now we've got a place for it. Future updates should include frames, more pictures, songs, and eventually a Stu newsletter.
